Patricia is the best! She really knows curly hair and is confident in her skills. The cut is perfect and it was reasonably priced. The salon is really cute, very cozy. What a treat!

Patricia Lewis at La Peluqueria in Berkeley, an artist of hair, works miracles for all types of curly hair! Patricia's shop is tucked behind Cafe de la Paz on Shattuck and across from Andronico's. My curls are now radiantly flowing, have superb and natural color, and are extremely well cut. As another client noted, everyone who leaves there seems very happy. She is funny, bright, and spirited and you can enjoy the time with her. I can't recommend her enough!

Honestly!! I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. Patricia knows color, curls and cutting with style and grace. She will make you beautiful!! More beautiful than you all ready are and you can count on it!! I used to hyperventilate before finding a stylist or going into a salon. I would bring my own combs and not trust anyone to comb through my nappy hair, until Patricia. Now going to the salon is fun for me and something I look forward to. Make an appointment today!! LOVE IT!!! I went to Patricia for a haircut; I've always had a hard time finding someone who can help me with my curly hair. A lot of stylist are intimidated by how curly my hair actually is. But not Patricia, she has natural curls herself so she understands my struggles. She took her time finishing the cut with a beautiful blow dry. I loved the outcome. Thanks Patricia.
